Killer sudoku is a popular variation on classic sudoku puzzles. To complete a puzzle you must fill the board with numbers that obey traditional sudoku rules AND make each outlined region sum to a specific value. The grid begins blank, but these rules give you all the information you need to solve the puzzle!
Solving a killer sudoku puzzle requires a lot of notes, so we worked hard to make the note entry features in this app perfect. A dedicated note keypad and the ability to select multiple squares makes entering notes fast. You can even make combination lists that float above the puzzle and can be rearranged on the screen! Cross out combinations from your lists as you rule them out.

Excellent and well thought out. I like the fact that you can easily jump between levels. Easy for when you have 5 minutes waiting in a shopping queue. Impossible for when youre led in the sun
Excellent in every way. Just two suggestions- if I have say three small 6s marked in a box or line when I decide where I want to put the 6 the small ones should disappear. Suggestion two - the landscape portrait turning bugs a bit. Otherwise impeccable!
But the levels are not always appropriate.
Would need to be able to understand how you can get the right answers or how the deduction works particularly on extra hard and impossible ones.

If youre looking for a serious sudoku killer app, dont go further: this is the only one proposing serious puzzles. Plus, it boasts the best user interface, with the ability to display combinations in multiple hives and cross out those that dont match. Worth every penny you spend on buying more puzzles: I guarantee youll purchase some.
A brilliant app. Very clear and simple interface. Completely addictive. A huge number of puzzles for a ludicrously small price. There are so many that I can start all over again, having forgotten the details of a puzzle after several months. One query: why are the medium puzzles harder than the hard ones? Perhaps its just me.

I have purchased the new mega pack 2 but i dont have any new puzzles... I hope this problem would be solved very soon!
I loved this app until the new puzzles AUTO NOTE feature - it does not disable despite putting it on the OFF position. Very fustrating!
Excellent game play, but very few puzzles included, and puzzle packages are not particularly cheap, considering the effort required.
After the last update, when the key "9" is touched, the scheme ends.
First, of the Killer Sodokus Ive found in the App Store, this one seems to be the best. However, its interface needs work.
I compare this to the ease of the app Sudoku Joy (which unfortunately lacks a killer play style), where instead of two numeric pads, there is one, with a button on the side to switch between pencil and pen. Also, having to select each square and pencil mark repeatedly is tedious; locking in the number youre working with and then tapping on the squares to quickly add or remove marks would be ideal and much, much faster.
The possibilities calculator is a fantastic tool. I dont understand the notes section; further explanation (or even examples) would be ideal. Finally, when hitting for a [HINT], instead of just filling in a box, explaining why, or what we could look for would be best - again, an option Sudoku Joy does SO well, teaching as we go.
This was a great game before - it is even better with the enhancements. It makes the game go a little faster.
